Management Accountant - Permanent
North Kildare, Hybrid after 6 months
Role Summary
Our client is currently recruiting for a Management Accountant who will be responsible for a variety of tasks supporting the Finance function. The successful candidate will report to the Financial Controller
This position is a full time, permanent role and subject to a 6-month probationary period.
Job Responsibilities
• Assist the Financial Controller with the preparation of monthly management accounts pack including:
o Departmental P&L and Balance Sheet to accurately reflect the activity and performance of the organisation.
o 3-month cashflow with commentary.
• Assist in managing projects, including:
o sales invoicing
o cost control
• Manage the credit control function.
• Assist with accounts payable function.
• Manage overhead cost control.
• Complete weekly bank reconciliations.
• Assist with Fixed Asset Register.
• Support Financial Controller and Auditors on year-end reporting.
• Assist in ensuring all revenue requirements are met, including RCT/VAT/PAYE returns.
• Assist with any accounting tasks as required.

The Person
Skills Required
• Qualified accountant, ACCA, CPA, ACA or CIMA.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in producing accounts within a small/medium company environment.
• Proficient in MS Office, with strong Excel skills essential.
• Ability to critically analyse and assess information.
• Excellent attention to detail, with an ability to use initiative and always maintain confidentiality.
• Ability to work well under pressure.
• Self-motivated and capable of recommending improvements in internal processes.
• Ability to work in a team environment and support team colleagues.
