The Role

Role title: Management Accountant
Reporting to: Finance Director
Location: Naas, Co Kildare

Main Duties:

Preparation of month end accounts and reports for review
Preparation of month end reporting pack which will include KPI and variance analysis and providing commentary on analysis and trends.
Preparation of intercompany journals and intercompany reconciliations
Balance sheet reconciliations completed monthly including inventory management
Support the daily activities of the finance department and ensure that all key reports and
reconciliations are completed accurately and on time.
Accounting audit preparation and coordinate all audit processes and queries related in a timely fashion
Review of daily bank and PSP reconciliations.
Review of AP processes and ensuring that all invoices are traded in a timely fashion.
Preparation of weekly cashflow, with variance analysis commentary.
Support on budget/forecast process for business.
Deliver accurate and timely reporting and managing stakeholder expectations.
Ad-hoc analysis and reporting.
Evaluating, developing, and improving department controls, systems, and procedures that increase accuracy and efficiency within areas of responsibility.

 

 

 

The Person

Role requirements:

Qualified accountant with 2+ years' experience in commercial or management accounting
A relevant third level business qualification or equivalent
Experience in Microsoft Business Central Erp - NAVISION
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Strong financial and analytical skills

Personal Skills:

Ability to work in cross-functional team environments, as well as independently
Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
Self-motivated and looking to progress in their professional career
High level of accuracy and attention to detail
Ability to interact with all levels within the organisation- excellent communication skills
Commercially aware and action orientated.
