The Role
Our client, located in is looking to hire an experienced Key Account Manager to join their established team.
As a Key Account Manager, you will be part of a dynamic team focused on developing relationships with key multiple retailers and supporting the delivery of the commercial plans. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales and account management and a passion for building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Duties and responsibilities
- Own the relationships with Key Accounts from day 1 – understand their goals, challenges and how we can help them succeed
- Drive the promotional planning cycles internally for your assigned Accounts, providing ideas & insight to deliver sales & market share growth
- Working closely with the NPD team to develop the correct range and formats to deliver growth for your respective customers across all proteins.
- Maintain accurate sales forecasts, working closely with the demand planning and production teams.
- Develop and support the negotiation of Joint Business Plans (JBP) and Long-Term Agreements (LTA) with key retail and convenience customers.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to drive profitable growth and represent your retailer’s voice with internal stakeholders.
The Person
What You Bring
- 2-3 years Sales and Customer Management experience
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
- A genuine passion for people, problem solving and driving results
- Clear communicator with strong persuasive and presentation capabilities
- Sharp commercial instincts – you love working with data and thinking strategically
- Resilience, curiosity and a growth mindset – you’re eager to learn and take on new challenges
- An entrepreneurial mindset – you thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment and take ownership of challenges
- Full clean driving license - a MUST.
