The Role

The main duties and responsibilities of the roles will include the following:

  • Lead the development of an internal communications strategy
  • Define and lead the internal transformation engagement strategy, translating the strategy into key communication strategies and messages being deployed through leader briefing packs, feedback surveys, etc;
  • Create content, in line with agreed messaging, to support the business strategy  for use on internal and external channels of communication;
  • Coordinate and proof read any communication that is issued, ensuring that content and tone are correct;
  • Collaborate with the management team to produce briefs, messaging, copy, etc to support their relevant areas. Ensure that these briefs, etc. are created in format and design to the relevant audience;
  • Support leaders to ensure effective communication and engagement practices are embedded
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels. Lead the measurement and reporting of engagement and communication effectiveness and introduce new solutions to meet future needs;
  • Collaborate with the External Communications Officer to ensure alignment of internal and external communications. Ensure consistency of approach, message and brand and delivery of consistent corporate messaging

The Person

  • Honours degree in Business, Communications or related discipline is required;
  • Exceptional attention to detail required and a commitment to delivering high quality output;
  • Demonstrates strong creative skills;
  • Self-motivated and resilient with the capacity to work under pressure;
