The Role

HR Manager 

Maternity Contract 

Saary: Negotiable

 

Responsibilities:
Ø Conduct full cycle recruitment process which includes placing job adverts, arranging interviews, conducting post interview checks, conducting the induction process and managing the Companies accommodation for employees.
Ø Organising employees training sessions and activities. Liase with the 3rd party providers of training.
Ø Assist managers in all Human Resources function activities including but not limited to, for example, preparation of contracts, absence management, performance management, career development, succession planning, discipline and grievance processes and equal opportunities.
Ø Conduct and/or oversee investigations, disciplinary hearings, appeals and grievances in line with best practice
Ø Ensure compliance with all legal requirements with regard to employment contracts, terms of service, company handbooks and all other relevant documentation as required.
Ø Liaising with the Payroll team – regarding changes/new starters/ leavers
Ø Create records, maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation in accordance with current data protection legislation.
Ø GDPR team member
Ø Employee Representative Group Co-Ordinator
Ø Organise social events for employees and manage awards- length of service/ Christmas etc./Manage the Flu Vaccination Programme
Ø Covid-19 Management team – serial testing, point of contact, reports and advising
Ø Maintain effective communication with all members of the operation team & stakeholders
Ø HR Administration – Manage Employee Referral Programme, leavers, letters, PPS, Banks, Employee of month etc. plus Ad-hoc administration

Skills/Requirements:
Ø The ideal candidate will have a relevant degree- or be CIPD qualified with equivalent experience. 3+ years’ experience in a HR
Ø Comprehensive understanding of human resources employment law
Ø Strong attention to detail.
Ø Excellent organizational skills and ability to balance immediate/long term priorities.
Ø Office/computer literacy essential
Ø Ability to work on own initiative & to deadlines.
