The Role

HR Generalist,  Chapelizod

Permanent

 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the HR Manager and the Senior Management team in the recruitment and selection processes.
  • Advise, participate, and implement procedures & policies in line with current employment legislation.
  • Work in conjunction with management to resolve HR Issues such as complaints, grievances and disciplinary.
  • Administer and update personnel files of all employment changes including onboarding and offboarding.
  • Assist in the Induction process for all new employees.
  • Maintaining the current training matrix in conjunction with our performance management system.
  • Work in conjunction with managers to address the company’s internal and external training needs.
  • Manage develop and measure the impact of training provided in line with budgets.
  • Participating in helping to devise department goals and objectives.
  • Responsibility for HR reports in advance of management meetings.
  • Ongoing development of the overall HR department.
  • Assisting in the management of the HR sections of SharePoint, social media and the company website.
  • Monitor employee engagement and look at various talent attraction and retention strategies.
  • Oversee business in the community initiatives including work experience and volunteering opportunities.
  • Work closely with HR Manager on ad hoc HR & Communications projects as they arise

 

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

The Person

Requirements:

  • CIPD Membership
  • Recently graduated or working towards HR/Business Degree
  • Have at least 3 years HR Advisor or Generalist experience
  • Must be an excellent communicator and team player, with the ability to maintain excellent working relationships
  • Good knowledge of employment law
  • Can juggle multiple tasks, is detail orientated whilst meeting deadlines

The Package

Salary:

DOE - €40,000 - €50,000 per year
