The Role

HR Administrator  

Part Time 


Based in Dublin City Centre 

My client is looking for a HR Administrator to join their company on a permanent part time basis located in Dublin City Centre. 


  • Dealing with employee queries on employment/company policy matters
  • Assisting with recruitment and selection and ensuring suitable panel of candidates available for roles
  • Coordinating arrangements for set up of employee records and induction of new employees
  • Maintaining and reporting on all absence records
  • Maintenance and management of time and attendance system
  • Preparing contracts of employment, monitoring probationary periods and ensuring probationary reviews are completed
  • Coordinating the annual and mid-year performance review process
  • Maintaining training records and assisting with the preparation of materials for training seminars
  • Maintaining up to date employee records
  • Coordinating enrolment of individual employees for employee benefits
  • Providing information and supporting employees in relation to accessing the Employee Assistant Programme
  • Assisting with update of HR policies and procedures and ensuring all updated in line with statutory requirements and legislative changes and are GDPR compliant
  • Providing support in relation to disciplinary processes
  • Providing advice to managers in relation to interpretation of HR policy and guidelines
  • Assisting with internal communications and engagement
  • Providing information as required to report on KPIs, HR activity, trends based on employee data etc., to inform Company decisions
  • Maintaining quality standards throughout all HR activity
  • Other ad hoc HR related activities as they arise

The Person

  • Proven experience of working in a similar HR role
  • Ideally the person should have HR Degree/Diploma and be CIPD qualified
  • Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of HR policies and procedures and their application in practice
  • Knowledge of Irish employment law
  • Ability to plan, be well organised, take initiative and be flexible and cooperative
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the capacity to relate to people in an empathetic and professional manner
  • Positive attitude, sound judgment, trustworthy and tactful in confidential environment
  • Excellent IT skills
