Role: Financial Planning & Analysis Accountant

Permanent

Office based

Preparation of month-end accounts
Delivery of month-end reporting
Manage annual budgeting and long-term planning process
Manage quarterly forecasting process
Cost and Profitability Analysis
Finance business case modelling including capital investment request process
Manage monthly cost reviews with leadership team
Act as a business partner across the company, providing data and insights for effective decision making
Engage with  Group functions in relation to accounting, budgeting, and analysis
General support to other areas of finance as required

Your profile – your characteristics, knowledge, skills:

Work effectively as a ‘finance business partner’, building strong relationships across the organisation, operating in a flexible and collaborative manner.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
Strong analytical ability, with a logical approach to problem solving and sound judgement;
Dynamic, with a natural focus on the ‘big picture’, combined with strong attention to detail; and
Proactive, with a ‘can-do’ approach and the ability to organise and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines.

Experience & Qualifications

ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified
5+ years’ experience in similar role
Advanced competency in MS excel and excellent working knowledge of MS word and outlook
Experience in working in a fast-paced environment
Project accounting, Capital accounting and Fixed Assets design experience
Experience of D365 and IBM Maximo an advantage
