Financial Controller MEATH  Office based**

Permanent Role

Working closely with the CFO

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and other business functions, to provide financial insights, support strategic initiatives, and optimize financial performance.
Manage the day to day financial aspects of the business
Prepare & submit monthly management accounts to the directors & management team
Monthly KPI reports on Sales, Budgets, Margins, and Cashflow
Prepare & present various financial reports, cashflow, forecasts, budgets to senior management highlighting key financial trends, risks & opportunities
Oversee payroll & IT functions within the business
Develop team based projects in conjunction with other members of the management team
Monitor and analyse key financial metrics and indicators, providing insights and recommendations for performance improvement.
Provide support to the Directors to enable strategic decision making
Ensure organisation is compliant with Taxation and Statutory obligations
Managing Year-end Audit
Ongoing development and review internal controls and processes

The Person

Candidate Profile
Qualification with a recognised accounting body
Experience in a manufacturing environment preferable
Excellent communication skills & ability to articulate viewpoint essential
Attention to detail
Proficiency on excel
Prior use of ERP & Business Intelligence systems desirable but not essential
