Financial Accountant - Based in Naas ( On Site 5 Days)

This is an excellent opportunity for a practice qualified or partly qualified accountant to make the move to industry.

The Role:
• The preparation of the monthly management accounts, together with all of the ancillary reporting and controls relating the the Wholesale operation
• The preparation of the Group annual statutory consolidated accounts
• Manage the Group audit process and related Board Reporting including liaising with Auditors and Tax advisors
• The implementation of a standardised Group reporting process for all Group entities for both annual and quarterly reporting
• The preparation of the monthly management accounts of a number of entities, together with all of the ancillary reporting, reconciliations and controls
• Responsibility for ensuring compliance with the relevant accounting standards, tax laws and regulatory requirements
• Preparation of rolling monthly reports and forecasts as required
• Any ad hoc projects that arise from time to time
The Candidate:
• You will be a qualified or partly qualified accountant with excellent IT skills
• Practice experience would be an advantage
• You will have exposure to managing audit process including the production of annual financial statements
• You will be capable, in time, of making a meaningful contribution to the commercial activity of the Group, while maintaining and improving a strong and well-established reporting and control environment
