Financial Accountant
Reporting to: Finance Director
Edenderry, Co. Offaly
Permanent role
Office based
Hybrid after 6 months
Role and responsibilities include but not limited to:
• Preparation of management accounts and ledger maintenance for primary entity.
• Gather all necessary reports and detailed support periodically and on demand, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, budgets, strategic plans and cash-forecasts.
• Execute accurate reporting, enabling the department to analyse options and make financial recommendations aligned with company objectives.
• Assist Financial Controller with the annual audit and preparation of the year-end financial statements.
• Assist with ad hoc projects and analysis as they arise
• Assist other members of the finance department as the need arises.
The Person
Minimum Qualification:
• Recognised accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
• Newly qualified or up to 2 years PQE.
• Excellent planning, analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
