The Role

Finance & Operations Manager  - Permanent

North Co Dublin- HYBRID

 

The successful appointee will develop and lead operational excellence and business practices to optimise our service and value to clients. They will be an energetic and high-performing individual with a professional and strong attention-to-detail approach, excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and a problem-solving ‘can-do’ attitude. Importantly, they will be self-starters who can manage their time effectively, while contributing to the operational, digitalisation and strategic development of the company.

 

Key Responsibilities:
• Management and development of the admin function
• Oversee the preparation of financial and management accounts to deadline
• Provide accurate cash forecasting and management
• Ensure statutory compliance, and preparation and filing of returns
• Ensure tax compliance of the business
• Lead and implement continuous improvement in business processes and systemisation, including implementation of ISO
• Dealing and negotiating with external parties such as auditors, banks, insurers etc.
• Management and continuous development of all business reporting processes, KPIs and related controls
• Management responsibility for all support functions including IT and HR
• Support senior management in the development of performance goals and long-term operational plans
• Commercially aware, understanding and anticipating the needs of both operations, consulting services and management

The Person

The Candidate:
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, etc.) with minimum of 5 years’ PQE
• Experience in financial analysis, planning and modelling
• Experience in business / process improvement and systemisation
• Relevant university qualification at honours graduate or postgraduate level in business or related area
• Capable of generating respect and trust from staff, management, partners and key
• High level of competency across all MS Office applications and experience working with CRM / ERP systems
• Ability to streamline and implement new structures and roles to drive greater process efficiency, and support a changing international business environment and expansion plans
• A strong team player comfortable working collaboratively, virtually, and independently
• Strong presentation skills
