The Role

Duties
• Accountability for all finance and accounting operations including A/R, A/P and GL
• Strong focus on Accounts Payable and Supplier reconciliations.
• Invoice and PO matching, working closely with procurement to resolve any discrepancies.
• Identify and resolve invoicing issues, accounting errors.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Month end duties include the reconciliation of all accounts linked to AP and AR.
• Preparing reports for accruals and prepayments.
• Supporting the finance manager during month end and annual financial audit through the preparation of reports and ad hoc supporting documentation relevant to your area of responsibility.
• Point of contact for suppliers and customers regarding account queries.
• Preparation of AP monthly payment files for the CFO to approve.
• Assisting Finance Manager with Customer Invoicing on weekly and monthly basis and following up on any overdue accounts.
• Reconciling the credit card accounts and petty cash.
• Working with HR re Employee reimbursements.
• Support CFO with any other duties, as reasonably requested.
• Providing back up to office administration in rotation with other administrators

The Person

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Bookkeeping or accounts technician qualification.
• Knowledge of MS Office Suite of products – preferable MS Office 365, SharePoint.
• Excellent working knowledge of Excel (Pivot tables.,vLookup etc.)
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in posting purchase invoices and reconciliations.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in busy accounts department.
• Able to work under pressure.
• Ability to work across departments and experience with process implementations.
