The Role
Leinster Appointments is currently recruiting for an Export Sales Support in North County Dublin.
This is a permanent, full time role.
Fully office based
Salary up to €32,000. Could be negotiable for the right candidate
Main duties:
- Input orders into the internal computer system, ensuring correct pricing and stock availability.
- Manage out-of-stock items and set customer expectations accordingly.
- Create and handle quotations, sales orders, invoices, and credit notes.
- Oversee credit control, including sending reminders for overdue payments.
- Conduct inbound telephone sales, promoting both existing and new products to the current customer base.
- Provide customer service for a portfolio of Italian and other European customers, managing technical inquiries and working with fitters and the technical team to resolve issues promptly.
- Handle export sales administration and manage export customer accounts.
- Coordinate with couriers for transport/shipment quotes and arrangements.
- Conduct desk-based market research, collect data, and perform competitor analysis.
- Translate marketing materials such as brochures, price lists, and point-of-sale documents.
- Prepare sales reports and analyses.
- Create sales presentation documents.
- Attend industry trade shows and marketing events as needed.
- Manage the weekly export stock dispatches.
- Organize travel arrangements when required.
The Person
• Fully fluent in both written and conversational Italian & English. (Proficiency in French also would be an advantage but is not essential.)
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Experience in a similar type role dealing with exports and logistics would be an advantage.
• Experience in marketing activities (translations, presentation skills etc.)
• Highly organised and have a good eye for detail.
• Good computer skills. (Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office packages).
• Willing to travel to and work at any trade shows which the company decides to partake in.
• A team player.
