Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant
Naas - Permanent
Salary: €40,000 - €45,000
Office Based Role
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Bookkeeper / Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience using Sage Line 50 and Sage Micropay would be a distinct advantage
Strong Excel skills are required for this role
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing Monthly, Quarterly & Yearly Management Accounts
- Liaise with company auditors on preparation of Audited Accounts.
- Maintain & update Fixed Asset Register.
- Revenue returns to include PAYE/VAT/.
- Weekly Payroll
- Bank Reconciliations
- Credit Control/Debtor Control.
- Monthly Cash flow & Forecast.
- Processing Purchase Orders & Invoices for resale stock.
- Staff Expense Accounts
- Stock Control & Annual Stock Take.
- Intercompany transactions.
- Creditor reconciliations & Payments.
- Responsible for day to day running of busy office
The Person
Key Skills:
- Accounting Technician Qualified /Part Qualified desirable,
- Experienced in MS Excel,
- Exposure to fast paced accounts department, and proficient in Sage Line 50 and Sage Micro Pay,
- Strong attention to detail is essential,
- Ability to multi-task and to work on their own initiative,
