The Role

We’re currently looking for an ambitious professional to join our busy Finance team. This role is ideal for someone currently undertaking studies towards gaining a professional qualification and looking to support this in their day job. As you progress through your studies and after, your role will progress with you with growth opportunities available.


Tasks / Responsibilities:

Stock Management:
 Organise & Co-ordinate cycle stock counts
 Organise & Co-ordinate annual stock counts
 Review Adjustments before submitting for approval to process
 Team Lead on Process Improvements on Stock Management
 Working closely with Operations & Purchasing Department on Process Improvements

Month End
 Reconciliation of Balance Sheet Accounts
 Assisting with month end close and analysis
 Posting journals
 Maintaining journal file & supporting documentation for accruals & prepayments

 Run Specific Control Reports on a daily basis
 Investigate any anomalies on Daily Reports
 Identify any potential control issues
 Issue summary report weekly to management

 Cover for Bank Payments & Reconciliations in case of annual leave / absence
 Cover for Credit Control in case of annual leave / absence
 Support other members of the Finance Team with accounting related queries
 Assist with Internal Audit
 Support during Budget and Forecast
 Other adhoc tasks as and when they occur

The Person

 Part qualified accountant or starting on this path is desirable
 Strong interpersonal skills
 Strong Excel skills compulsory

Salary €40,000 - 50,000
