AP / Accounts Assistant
Naas - Permanent
Salary: €38,000 - €40,000
Office Based role
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced AP / Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Accounts Payable.
Strong Excel skills are required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Management of Creditors Ledger
- Managing and Controlling Creditors invoicing and payments.
- Reconciling accounts to Statements
- Creditor payment runs.
- New account set up, pricing and stock control.
- Product costings, liaising with store manager about ingredient costs.
- Maintaining financial system in line with SG Quality system.
- Process out of pocket expense claims.
- Reviewing and maintaining purchase orders.
- Liaising with suppliers
- Month end activity including running of Aged Creditors reports and other information required by Financial Controller
The Person
Key Skills:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role
- Highly organised efficient person who is self motivated
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work in a fast paced office environment
- Knowledge of Herbst Software would be desirable but not essential.
- Excel skills
