Accounts Receivable Assistant

Fixed Term Contract (4 Months) - Carlow

Salary: €30,000 - €33,000

Hybrid Working Model

 

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Receivable Assistant on a contract basis.

This is a fixed term contract that is initially running up until December 31st 2023

Strong Excel skills would be a distinct advantage

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Record, direct and oversee Accounts Receivable transaction processing in compliance with policy and regulations.
  • Ensure income is recorded on time and accurately.
  • Monitor and collect aged debt for area of responsibility.
  • Ensure tax compliance within Accounts Receivable.
  • Respond promptly and courteously to stakeholder queries.
  • Ensure that reconciliations for Accounts Receivable are completed in the agreed timeline, with differences resolved promptly.
  • Proactively engage and participate in the annual business planning and risk management processes for the Financial Operations Unit and manage the implementation of the business plan to meet organisational goals and objectives.
  • Assist organisation in meeting the commitments of the Customer Service Charter and Action Plan through adherence to best practice protocols.
  • Take responsibility for own on-going personal and professional development.
  • Other Financial Operation duties as assigned from time to time.

The Person

Key Skills:

  • Level 5 Qualification, i.e. Leaving Certificate or equivalent examination.
  • At least 1-2 years administration experience ideally in a financial related role or in a role where skills are transferrable.
  • Good understanding of financial processes, controls and tax regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, attention to detail and problem solving skills.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer literate with a high level of proficiency in MS Word, MS Excel and Outlook.
  • Proven track record of successfully dealing with competing priorities and deadlines.
