Accounts Assistant

An accounts assistant role is opening, on a contract basis, in a leading Leinster hotel property.
Reporting to the on-site Financial Controller, this role will cover various functions within the accounts team as follows:
MAIN DUTIES:
(1) Revenue Reporting
• Preparation and communication of daily & weekly Revenues
• Daily Revenue audit and reconciliation processes
(2) Payroll Processing
• Process payroll on Quantum software (weekly)
• Preparation of labour reports
• Preparation of payroll journals
(3) Other Duties
• AR Ledger and credit control management
• Voucher administration
• Assist with General Ledger postings, Balance sheet reconciliations, Year End processing and External Audit process
The Person
• Experience in similar busy accounts department
• Hotel experience is an advantage
• Strong excel experience would be advantageous
