The Role

Accounts Payable

Naas - Permanent

Salary: €30,000

Start Date: January 2020


My client is seeking to appoint an Accounts Payable Administrator on a permanent basis.

Candidates must have 1-2 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience using Excel would be a distinct advantage


Key Responsibilities:

  • Inputting of creditors invoices
  • Invoice processing matching invoices to purchase orders on system
  • Taking of incoming accounts calls
  • Placing people on weekly cheque runs
  • Creditors reconciliation
  • Liaising with other departments for passing of invoices
  • Payment to suppliers
  • Coding, posting and organizing approval of invoices
  • Resolution of Finance issues and management of checking process
  • Cash posting and allocation as required
  • Identification and processing of accruals for month end accounts
  • Assisting with month-end process
  • Reconciliation of inter-company accounts for month end account
  • Reconciliation’s
  • Handling supplier queries
  • Bank reconciliation’s
  • Other Ad-hoc duties as required.

The Person

Key Skills:

  • 1 – 2 years AP Experience desired in a busy and medium to large sized company
  • Experience dealing with suppliers / creditors
  • Handling large volumes of data in MS Excel
  • Experience with computerised accounts packages
