The Role

Senior Bookkeeper / Accounts Manager 

Based in Co. Meath (easily accessible from North Dublin, & Louth) 

Permanent Role 

Salary €35,000 - 45,000 DOE 

Duties: 

  • Posting of bank transactions on a regular basis
  • Reconciliation of bank accounts on a monthly basis
  • Coding and inputting purchase invoices
  • Monthly EFT runs paying suppliers
  • Reconciliation of creditors and preparation of monthly Aged Creditors reports
  • Maintenance of payroll records
  • Processing payment of staff payroll
  • Preparation and submission of  Revenue returns on ROS (e.g. VAT3 and Payroll)
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts on Sage 50 and Excel
  • Preparation of statutory year-end management accounts through on Sage 50 and Excel
  • Assistance in preparation of internal reports for management
  • Reporting to Managing Director
  • General office management administrative tasks
Candidate Requirements: 
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Proficiency with Sage 50 Accounts, Thesaurus Payroll and Excel are desirable
  • Excellent English written and oral skills
  • Strong work ethic and flexibility
  • Attention to detail
  • Positive can-do attitude
