Accounts Assistant

Maynooth - 12 month Fixed Term Contract

Salary: €35,000 - €40,000

Hybrid Working Model


My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant for a fixed term contract of 12 months.

Candidates must have SAP and strong Excel skills

Experience within a large multinational organisation would be a distinct advantage


Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating PRs and POs within SAP
  • Posting Supplier Invoices to SAP, allocating to POs and sending for approval
  • Managing PR/PO approvals
  • Managing Invoice Approvals
  • Monitoring finance inboxes
  • Posting Contractor Invoices
  • Vendor Reconciliations
  • Sending BIK information to Payroll
  • Managing Rent Payments for a large number of properties

The Person

Key Skills:

  • AITI qualified or part qualified accountant
  • Experience working in construction industry preferable
  • Previous experience of SAP
  • Experience of working with a SSC global environment useful
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and growing organisation
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and strong communicator
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Self-motivating and able to work on own initiative
