Accounts Assistant
Naas - Permanent
Salary: €30,000 - €35,000
Office Based Role
My client is seeking to appoint an Accounts Assistant on a permanent basis.
The successful candidate will need to have a minimum of 1 years' relevant experience.
A good understanding of Excel will be required for this role.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reviewing & verifying invoices (sorting , 3 way matching, coding etc ).
- Process purchase invoices on a daily basis for all suppliers.
- Process customer receipts on a daily basis.
- Dealing with Supplier & Customer queries.
- Dealing with incoming post for AP & AR department
- Scanning & filing documentation
- Assist the AP/AR team with month end closure
- Ad hoc duties as they arise.
The Person
Key Skills:
- AP & AR experience.
- Experience in dealing with escalated queries.
- A high degree of computer literacy, knowledge of standard Microsoft packages desired.
- Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
- Approachable, enthusiastic, flexible and adaptable.
- Attention to detail with excellent organisational skills and proven ability to handle multiple tasks / priorities and to support the team to manage their priorities and tasks
- Effective time management skills with an ability to work on own initiative.
- Good interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with people at all levels
