The Role

Part Time Payroll Officer

Kildare North - 12 month Contract

Monday to Friday (8am - 2pm)

Salary: €35-45K pro rata

Start Date: November / December 2018


My client is seeking to appoint a Part Time Payroll Officer for a 12 month contract.

The working hours are Monday to Friday (8am - 2pm)

Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years Payroll experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise and coordinate with external payroll provider in Ireland, UK and Denmark to ensure payroll is prepared, managed and processed on monthly basis in timely manner
  • Take full ownership for shadow payroll reporting to external payroll provider in Ireland and Denmark
  • Work with company tax advisor as and when required
  • Take full responsibility for monthly payroll runs with HR & Finance support when necessary
  • Resolve staff payroll queries and ad hoc related payroll issues in timely manner
  • Setting up new staff on payroll and ensuring new starters are correctly set up ensuring tax compliance
  • Maintain payroll processing system and records by gathering, calculating and inputting data
  • Identifies, investigates, and resolves discrepancies in payroll records
  • Manages payroll reports for record-keeping
  • Liaise with the company tax advisors for all employee’s on international assignments in Ireland/Denmark to ensure compliance on international taxes, exclusion orders and relevant tax registration as required
  • Liaise with Revenue Office as necessary for any tax related issues that may arise

The Person

Key Skills:

  • 2 Years’ Experience in a similar role
  • Accounts technician/IPass/accountancy qualification a must
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Initiative and self-motivated individual
  • Excellent time-management skills
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills
