Internal Sales & Services Supervisor

The successful candidate will have an appetite for growing the business continuously yet managing the day to day operations of a team with excellent attention to detail. 

Growth of Procurement Services:

  • Work with Head of Insights and Services to plan and strategically grow our Commercial service offering package to retail pharmacy.
  • Collaborating with our global colleagues to evaluate new service offerings and project management of implementation.
  • Manage and foster relationships with internal stakeholders as well as external suppliers to evaluate opportunities for growth.
  • Prepare business proposal documents regarding new services/arrangements to the Head of Insights and Services and/or Procurement Director
  • Evaluate the market and our competitors offering with a view to growing our own procurement service offering to retail pharmacy
  • Work with Insights Manager to extract procurement services data and use this towards future decisions

Team Management:

  • Management and mentoring of procurement services team with regards to time management, performance management etc.
  • Meet monthly budgeted and sales targets
  • Cost control awareness to meet budget
  • Maintain awareness of changes within the Pharmaceutical industry, in particular – governmental changes and also evaluate impact of these changes on the procurement service offering
  • Act as primary point of contact for all touch points on the procurement service offering
  • Act as an escalation point for any complex service queries or customer complaints.
  • Support promotional product activities
  • Work on internal project teams as assigned by the Head of Insights and Services
  • Produce and manage applicable KPIs on a monthly basis to the Head of Insights and Services
  • Work to develop SOPs/guidelines (and enhance where required)
  • SOX compliance

The Person

 Person Specification:

 Qualifications: 

  • 3rd level diploma or degree in retail, business or supply chain desirable or equivalent work experience

Work Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience within a similar role
  • 2 year’s management experience desirable
  • Pharmaceutical industry experience is desirable, although not essential
  • Retail industry experience is desirable, although not essential
  • Personal Characteristics:
  • A strong client service focus
  • Knowledge of pharmaceutical supply chain business in ROI
  • Ability to manage multiple projects
  • Excellent Interpersonal and negotiation skills
  • Excellent presentation skills and written communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Ability to communicate trends within a team to a business like commercial audience
  • High level of numeracy with ability to analyse sources of data
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proven ability to work to timelines and budget
