Business Development Manager
Location: Co. Kildare
Permanent Full Time
- To develop and lead a comprehensive Corporate fundraising strategy incorporating the annual events and to deliver agreed net income targets in the short and long term. Also, to increase and diversify the fundraising base of the Corporate team
- To identify and generate new income streams across the fundraising mix. New business target to be set and agreed.
- To manage the corporate fundraising team to deliver short & long term targets.
- To provide day to day account direction of the key corporate accounts whilst overseeing and providing top line support for all accounts.
- To ensure excellent donor care across the team and to develop and implement a donor care strategy for the Corporate accounts
- Agree and set strategic objectives & lead objectives.
- To project manage agreed events & campaigns and provide support to other events as and when required.
- To manage, monitor and report on an agreed income and expenditure budget.
- To develop fundraising materials required for the Corporate team.
- Undertake research to stay abreast of market trends and developments.
- To maintain up to date and accurate records on the database and to run relevant reports and to oversee best practice use of the database.
- To be an active member of the fundraising team to help deliver the wider fundraising targets.
The Person
- Direct relevant experience in Business Development / Marketing / Sales or other account management environment with strong track record in strategic planning and implementation.
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills – both written & verbal
- Ability to manage budgets as well as ability to prioritise your workload and deliver within tight deadlines
- Ability to motivate people and lead a team.
- Some travel required as well as full clean drivers licence
