Accounts Assistant
Kildare - Fixed Term Contract
Salary: 28-32K
Start Date: October 2017
My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to cover a fixed term contract.
This is a maternity leave contract and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.
Experience using SAP and Excel would be a distinct advantage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare of Month end accruals and prepayments
- Assisting with month end Management & Financial Reporting
- Monthly actual V budget accounts
- Assisting with budgeting
- Administration of Finance Invoices.
- Accounts Payable and maintenance of coding list.
- Assisting with administration of Purchase Order system.
- Liaising with operations regarding accounting issues.
- Support operations regarding accounting issues.
- Provide assistance with audits and controller visits.
- Internal management reporting.
- Set up and maintain internal orders and running settlements.
- Any other duties as required by management commensurate with position and training.
The Person
Key Skills:
- Candidates should possess 3 years relevant work experience at a similar level.
- IATI Qualified/CIMA, ACCA, ICAI PQ/ QBE
- Should be capable of prioritizing workload to meet strict deadlines.
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word.
- Experience using SAP is a distinct advantage
- Excellent attention to detail/accuracy.
- Good leadership qualities.
- Good Communication skills.
