Accounts Assistant

Kildare - Fixed Term Contract

Salary: 28-32K

Start Date: October 2017

 

My client is seeking to appoint an experienced Accounts Assistant to cover a fixed term contract.

This is a maternity leave contract and the client is looking for someone to start immediately.

Experience using SAP and Excel would be a distinct advantage.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare of Month end accruals and prepayments
  • Assisting with month end Management & Financial Reporting
  • Monthly actual V budget accounts
  • Assisting with budgeting
  • Administration of Finance Invoices.
  • Accounts Payable and maintenance of coding list.
  • Assisting with administration of Purchase Order system.
  • Liaising with operations regarding accounting issues.
  • Support operations regarding accounting issues.
  • Provide assistance with audits and controller visits.
  • Internal management reporting.
  • Set up and maintain internal orders and running settlements.
  • Any other duties as required by management commensurate with position and training.

The Person

Key Skills:

  • Candidates should possess 3 years relevant work experience at a similar level.
  • IATI Qualified/CIMA, ACCA, ICAI PQ/ QBE
  • Should be capable of prioritizing workload to meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel/Word.
  • Experience using SAP is a distinct advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail/accuracy.
  • Good leadership qualities.
  • Good Communication skills.
